Hello all! 

I was just another shy, introverted kid when I first developed my passion for writing. Like most geeky introverted kids I was plagued by relentless bullying and my studies weren't proving fruitful, I had abysmal test scores and was frequently behind on my homework. To say I had my fair share of suffering through primary and high school would be an understatement, yet there was one area that always helped me through my darkest days, the power of imagination and storytelling! You see, my reality wasn't exactly sunshine and rainbows, so I'd take every opportunity I could to escape it by creating new fantastic worlds and characters to go on wild and wonderful adventures with. I grew obsessed with the power of creation, the thrill and satisfaction of making another world beyond this one, worlds filled with magic, danger, daring heroes and wicked villains. However, as I grew older and left school I drifted away from all that but I could still feel the nagging allure of fantasy calling me in the depths of mind. I realised I might have some potential here, I might be able to add something fantastic to this world that wasn't there before and I also decided it would be a terrible waste to squander something like that, to let it go unused. Hence, I wrote and managed to self-publish my very first book Eternal Struggle. Without a doubt it was quite a turbulent ordeal, I hadn't a clue how to begin or what the first steps were and I doubt I would've managed it if not for the aid of two of my favourite things in the world, herbal tea and meditation!  Which brought me to the creation of Lazy Monk Books! I desired to incorporate and share three of my favourite things in the world and I've still got many more fantastic ideas I wish to share with everyone, so keep an eye on my bookshelf and if you too have a story you want to gift to the world then know it's a long road but keep walking it my friend and when it looks to daunting, remember to drink tea, relax and allow the story to guide you.
